The Home of Wilmington High School

Wilmington High School is the home of the Wildcats; much more than a building. From a large blue and white "W" in the parking lot, to blue benches on the baseball field, there is spirit and a feeling of welcome everywhere you look.
As students eat their lunches, they can look up at the media on the walls, and be reminded of wildcat pride.

Passing Through the Halls

The community of Wilmington High School comes together in celebrating and remembering their history. Plaques are stuck on the wall as a memory of the old building, and students can walk the new halls and stare out the windows, looking at the demolition of the old school.
Only Wildcats can truly say that they remained in school, while watching their past school be torn to pieces. In the near future there will be inspirational quotes among the halls.
As you walk through the front doors, a memorable quote by Michael Caira is read and followed everyday by the students. Everything new starts somewhere, and Wilmington High School is the perfect example of that.

  1. I agree with that the spirit of Wilmington is present throughout the school even while watching the old one be taken down. Once a wildcat, always a wildcat
